The SBA San Antonio District Office, as part of their 2017 District Small Business Week, named Bryan Vincent the Business Person of the Year.

Principal LED’s very own Bryan Vincent has been named the 2017 Business Person of the Year by the SBA San Antonio District Office as part of their 2017 District Small Business Week winners. This year’s National Small Business Week is scheduled for April 30 – May 6, 2017. Principal LED is proud of Bryan’s accomplishment and wishes him a hearty “Congratulations!”

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has declared National Small Business Week to formally recognize the important role and contributions of America’s small businesses.  National and local events recognize top entrepreneurs for their achievements to include those individuals and organizations who champion small business.  Special recognition is also given to SBA resource partners and community organizations for their outstanding efforts in business and entrepreneurial development.

The U.S. Small Business Administration recognizes small business on a national and local level each year to signify the contribution and outstanding efforts of small business owners. The Small Business Person of the Year award is presented to an individual, who exemplifies the true spirit of an entrepreneur. The nominees are evaluated based on the success of the business measured in sales, the increase in employment opportunity produced by the business, development and implementation of creative and innovative business methods, and the demonstration of potential long-term success of the business.

Bryan Vincent launched Principal LED, in San Angelo, TX in 2010 with the vision of expanding the application of LED technology for signs. He has brought his business from a startup to one of the top three suppliers of LED lights in the sign industry. Vincent is heavily involved in the community and actively involved with ASU in various ways such as the College of Business Advisory Council.

Director of the ASU-SBDC, Dave Erickson, will be joining our esteemed recipient at the award ceremony to be held in San Antonio, TX on May 4th. The awards presentation event coincides with the National Small Business week which recognizes the important role of America’s small businesses.
